The controversy surrounding Udhayanidhi Stalin’s alleged remarks during a DMK protest has drawn reactions from several personalities from the film industry, including Kangana Ranaut, Kushboo Sundar and Chinmayi Sripaada.

Kangana Ranaut said that abusive and vulgar remarks should have no place in public life. She observed that legal action in such cases sends a message that public representatives should maintain decorum while addressing people.

Actor and BJP leader Kushboo Sundar condemned the alleged comments, saying women should never be used to target political opponents. She urged political leaders to conduct their campaigns with dignity and, if the remarks were directed at a woman, called for a public apology.

Singer Chinmayi Sripaada also criticised the incident, saying she initially failed to understand the alleged innuendo until it was explained to her. She said younger leaders should promote healthier political discourse instead of encouraging offensive language and added that women often become unintended targets during political confrontations.

The reactions have added to the public debate over the responsibilities of political leaders and the need for respectful communication during political campaigns.
