Kajal Aggarwal, who is trying her hands at cooking during this ongoing lockdown period to control the spread of coronavirus, recently made hot, spicy and scrumptious Andhra meal and won the appreciation of her family members and fans.
The actress, who is popular in both Tollywood and Kollywood, made bendakaya pulusu (a dish made with lady’s finger), sorakai pachadi (a dish made with bottle guard) and pesarattu (a type of dosa).
Posting pictures of those dishes, she wrote: “Because I’m missing my movie sets so much, decided to make a full on Andhra meal for dinner and the parents said I pass with flying colours. Here goes (my first attempt) – bendakaya pulusu, sorakai pachadi and pesarattu.”
Kajal had recently learnt making khasta samosa from her mother, whom she described as ‘master chef’. “My first attempt ever at making this (if I may say so myself!) decadent, very punjabi #KhastaSamosa . Such fun learning the art of manoeuvring the dough into the perfect cones under the fine tutelage (and very strict quality control) of my master chef mommy @vinayagg2060 #learningnewskills #samosaloverforever,” the actress posted.
Earlier, the ‘Maari’ and ‘Thupakki’ actress had baked a gluten free, sugar free and low calorie carrot cake and also shared recipe with her fans, it may be recalled.
