Fans of Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer 2’ have another musical treat coming their way, with Sun Pictures confirming that the film’s second single, ‘One Sun One Moon’, will be released on September 25.
The announcement was accompanied by a fun promotional video featuring director Nelson and music composer Anirudh Ravichander. The clip turns their creative discussions into a comic exchange, with Nelson repeatedly asking Anirudh to reshape the song.
Nelson’s demand for an “international mass” number becomes the starting point for a series of amusing disagreements between the filmmaker and composer. Their playful banter eventually becomes the highlight of the announcement video.
The upcoming track follows ‘Ala Bolelo’, the first single from ‘Jailer 2’, which was released on August 21. While the song attracted attention for its tune and choreography, reactions to its lyrics were divided.
The title ‘One Sun One Moon’ has also sparked curiosity among Rajinikanth’s fans. It appears to echo the popular phrase used by his admirers to celebrate the superstar’s stature. The promotional video gives another clue about the track by featuring the voice of Rajinikanth’s Muthuvel Pandian, the character he plays in the ‘Jailer’ franchise.
Directed by Nelson, ‘Jailer 2’ is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 15. The sequel brings back Rajinikanth and features a broad ensemble cast, including Shivarajkumar, Vidya Balan and Suraj Venjaramoodu.
