Superstar Rajinikanth-starrer ‘Jailer 2’ has added another musical highlight to its promotional campaign with the release of its second single, ‘One Sun One Moon’.
Composed by Anirudh Ravichander, the song features vocals by Anirudh and MS Krsna, with lyrics by Heisenberg and Super Subu. The track celebrates Rajinikanth’s enduring screen presence while offering fans fresh visuals of his character, Muthuvel Pandian.
Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, ‘Jailer 2’ brings Rajinikanth back in the role he played in the 2023 blockbuster. The sequel is scheduled to hit theatres on October 15.
The film reunites several members of the original cast, while also bringing in a number of new faces. SJ Suryah, Vidya Balan and Suraj Venjaramoodu are among the additions to the cast.
Mohanlal is also expected to return to the franchise, although the makers are yet to officially confirm his involvement. There have also been reports about other major stars joining the film, but those reports remain unconfirmed.
With the latest single now released, the makers are expected to step up promotions ahead of the film’s theatrical debut.
