Shooting of Vettrimaaran–Soori movie is expected to begin shortly at the Sathyamangalam region. The latest update about the flick is that maestro Ilayaraja will be scoring the music for the film.
The movie is said to be based on Jeyamohan’s short story ‘Thunaivan’. The shooting was supposed to take place in UAE however it has been now shifted to Sathyamangalam due to the pandemic. It is said that Vetrimaran has made some subtle changes in the story.
The film is said to be based on the life of those who go abroad for work. Most of the shooting was expected to take place in Gulf countries.
However the plan was disrupted due to Covid. With travel restrictions still in place, it is said that director Vettrimaran has made a few changes to the script. Vettrimaran will start working on ‘Vaadivasal’ starring Suriya after the completion of this project.
