Actor and composer GV Prakash Kumar and his wife-singer Saindhavi have announced their separation after being married for 11 years.
The duo made the announcement during the late hours of Monday and issued a similar statement released through their social media accounts.
In a statement posted by them, they said, “After much reflection, Saidhavi and I have decided to part ways after 11 years of marriage. For the sake of our mental peace and betterment while preserving our mutual respect for each other. We kindly ask the media friends and fans to understand and respect our privacy during this deeply personal transition.” The duo also requested understanding and support from the public during this time.
GV Prakash and Saindhavi were childhood sweethearts and got married in 2013. The couple are parents to a daughter named Avni whom they welcomed in 2020.
