First look of Aamir Khan as Daha in ‘Coolie’ released

The highly anticipated first look of Aamir Khan’s character, Dahaa, from the upcoming Rajinikanth-starrer ‘Coolie’ has been officially unveiled, sending fans into a frenzy.

The monochrome poster, released on July 3, 2025, showcases Aamir Khan in a rugged and stylish avatar, a striking departure from his recent on-screen appearances.

In the poster shared by Sun Pictures on X (formerly Twitter), Aamir is seen in a sharp side profile, sporting glasses, a black vest, and confidently smoking a pipe. This gritty and intense look for the character of Dahaa has quickly become a major talking point, especially as it marks a rare cameo appearance for the Bollywood superstar.

Aamir Khan himself recently confirmed his involvement in ‘Coolie’, revealing that he accepted the role without even hearing the script, purely out of his immense respect and admiration for Rajinikanth and director Lokesh Kanagaraj.

While it’s confirmed to be a cameo, reports suggest that Dahaa’s role will be a pivotal one, appearing in the crucial climax portions of the film and promising an intense face-off with Rajinikanth.

‘Coolie’, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is an action thriller that also features a stellar ensemble cast including Nagarjuna, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj, and Shruti Haasan. The film is set to hit IMAX screens worldwide on August 14, 2025
