The much-awaited first-look video of Arjun Sarja from ‘Leo’ was released on the occasion of the actor’s birthday. Within seconds after the release of the video, Arjun Sarja’s character Harold Das has become an internet sensation.
Incidentally, the entry scene of Harold Das bears a striking resemblance to that of Rolex’s introduction scene in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s previous venture Vikram.
It was only recently that the team had dropped the first-look video of Sanjay Dutt as Antony Das which took the internet by storm.
Antony Das and Harold Das are said to be brothers, who do not have an iota of mercy for anyone.
This is not the first time that the name Dass has captured the attention of the audience in Tamil cinema.

Ayan:
Written and directed by K V Anand, the movie has Suriya playing the role of a smuggler in the movie.
He works for Dass played by Prabhu in the movie. Prabhu comes as a local smuggler who starts with Kamalesh’s father and then becomes number one in the business.
The way Suriya calls Prabhu as Dass anna in the movie is very popular and lead to a meme fest recently.
Shahjahan:
When we talk about Dasses, we cannot be without mentioning Lord Labak Dass.
That phrase, for it cannot be qualified as a name, though an old one, became famous following a sequence involving comedian Vivek in the movie Pennin Manathai Thottu.
The dialogue is very famous and is still used in meme templates.
Chinnappadass:
The movie directed by C V Rajendran has Sathyaraj playing the titular role.
Chinnappadass, who is a post-graduate in law and a law college professor, gets suspended from teaching job when he thrashes rowdies who happen to be the children of corrupt ministers who tried to molest his sister.
Due to compulsion, Chinnappadass had to join the smuggling gang of Ravi Prakash. What happens next is the crux of the story.
Dass:
Directed by Babu Yogeswaran, the movie has Jayam Ravi in the lead role.
The film was initially titled as Rascal before it got changed as Daas, named after the character of the protagonist.
The movie begins in a small village in Tirunelveli district where a few upper caste men hold a chariot festival. Antony Dass (Ravi) along with his friends pull the chariot into their slum and they naturally incur the wrath of a local leader Annachi (Shanmuga Rajan).
Meanwhile his daughter Rajeswari (Renuka Menon) falls in love with Daas. Her sister (Monica) elopes to marry a lower caste boy Guna (Abhinay), a classmate of Daas.
What happens next forms the rest of the story.
