Director Anand Shankar has officially announced the female lead for Vikram’s 63rd project, tentatively titled ‘Chiyaan 63’.
Actress Riya Shibu of ‘Sarvam Maya’ fame has joined the cast, sharing her character announcement poster with the caption “Adding fuel to the FLAME.”
The project is set to begin its Chennai schedule in June 2026, for which Vikram has already allotted a bulk 50-day window.
The film is being bankrolled by Sibu Thameens and is described as a stylish action thriller.
The film marks a reunion for Vikram and Anand Shankar after the 2016 sci-fi hit Iru Mugan, and it is rumored that Vikram will be portraying a rugged chef with a secret life as a gangster.
Production is set to commence in Chennai next month, with Vikram reportedly allocating a continuous window of 50 to 60 days to wrap up the major talkie portions and high-intensity action sequences.
