Actor Vikram has a long list of movies in his kitty including ‘Ponniyin Selvan’, ‘Cobra’ and ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’.
He had recently teamed up with director Pa Ranjith for a new film which is said to be based on the role of Tamils in KGF.
Tentatively titled as ‘Chiyaan 61’, rumours are rife that Rashmika Mandanna will be playing the female lead in the flick.
The latest buzz is that shooting for the movie will commence in the last week of August.
Ranjith and Vikram were supposed to collaborate after ‘Madras’, however due to Pa Ranjith’s engagement with ‘Kaala’ and ‘Kabali’, the movie did not commence.
The new flick will be bankrolled by Studio Green.
At present Pa Ranjith is shooting for ‘Natchathiram Nagargiradhu’.
