After a long time, theatres in Tamil Nadu will witness the release of multiple movies this weekend. Right from Santhanam’s ‘DD Returns’ to ‘Die No Sirs’, a variety of movies will be hitting the screens. Let us take a look at some of the prominent movies.
‘DD Returns’:
Santhanam is back with another horror comedy movie with ‘DD Returns’. Directed by Prem Anand, the star cast of ‘DD Returns’ includes Surabhi, Redin Kingsley, Maran, Pradeep Rawat, Masoom Shankar, Fesi Vijayan, Motta Rajendran, Munishkanth, and Dheena, among others. The cinematography is handled by Dipak Kumar Padhy, while the film’s music is composed by Ro.
‘Let’s Get Married’:
The movie marks the entry of cricketer M S Dhoni as a movie producer. Harish Kalyan and Ivana play the lead roles in the movie which is going to be a feel-good romantic film to watch out for this weekend. MS Dhoni is also said to be appearing in a cameo role, and ‘LGM’ has gotten a decent response at the reservations.
‘Love’:
Bharath plays the lead role in ‘Love’, and the film marks his 50th film as an actor. Vani Bhojan plays the female lead in the movie which is directed by RP Bala. The movie is an official Tamil remake of the 2020 Malayalam film with the same title. The film has been censored and all set to hit the screens.
‘Pizza 3’
Directed by Mohan Govind, ‘Pizza 3’ features Ashwin Kakimanu and Pavithra Marimuthu in lead roles, with Gaurav Naryanan in a supporting role. It is said that the film’s story doesn’t have any connection with the story of the previous two parts. Arun Raj is scoring the music for the film, while the cinematography is handled by Prabhu Rhagav.
‘Die No Sirs’
Directed by MR Madhavan, ‘Die No Sirs’ the film features Udhay Karthik, Sai Priya Deva, Rishi Rithvik, Maneksha, Babu, and Ramana Chandrasekar in the main roles. The film which is based on the gangsters in North Chennai has received positive reviews from critics at the special screening.
