Police teams, including the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) and sniffer dogs, immediately rushed to the actress’s Teynampet home to conduct an extensive search.
Following a thorough examination of the premises, officials confirmed that no explosives were found, declaring the threat a hoax.
The incident is part of a series of similar, alarming bomb threat emails received by the Tamil Nadu police over the past week, targeting multiple high-profile locations, including the residences of the Chief Minister and the Governor.
