Popular producer V A Durai who bankrolled several hit movies such as ‘Ennamma Kannu’, ‘Looty’, ‘Lovely’, ‘Gajendra’, ‘Baba’ and ‘Pithamagan’ passed away.
The 69-year-old producer is survived by two wives Vijayalakshmi and Lakshmi. He has three daughters.
It is said that Durai was treated for diabetes. Celebrities and fans have shared their condolences on the demise of Durai.
Final rites of the producer will be held today at Valasaravakkam.
