With the Tamil Nadu government deciding to use drones to spray disinfectant and sanitiser in various parts of the state, it is said a team of college students has been helping the government in this project.
It is to be noted that the team from Anna University is none other than ‘Team Dhaksha’ which was trained by actor Ajith earlier. The team had participated in National and International level UAV challenges and won awards too.
More than a year ago,Ajith made a visit to MIT, one of the prestigious higher educational institutions in the country, and interacted with students of Team Daksha, who won the second place at the World UAV Medical Express Challenge 2018 in Australia.
Ajith spent a good amount of time with the students and posed for photographs with them. Ajith, who had earlier mentored the students, also operated the drone Daksha at the campus. Ajith is currently busy with ‘Valimai’ directed by H Vinoth and the shoot has come to a halt due to coronavirus outbreak.
