Top comedian Yogi Babu, who entered wedlock with Manju Bhargavi in a private ceremony in Lord Muruga temple in Tiruttani on February 5, was planning to host a grand wedding reception for the film industry and other VVIPs.
He was also personally distributing invitations to top stars and leading politicians, including Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami and Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam.
However now, sources say the actor has decided to postpone his wedding reception, due to the countrywide lockdown in view of coronavirus outbreak. “Once the lockdown ends, Yogi Babu would hold his reception in a grand way,” sources say.
Yogi Babu’s wedding last month was an intimate affair with only close friends and family in attendance. His popular movies are ‘Maan Karate’, ‘Yaamirukka Bayamey’, ‘Aandavan Kattalai’, ‘Kolamavu Kokila’ and ‘Pariyerum Perumal’. Yogi Babu is one of the most sought-after comedians in Kollywood. He was recently seen with superstar Rajinikanth in ‘Darbar’.
The bride hails from Vellore. Yogi Babu and Manju’s wedding is an arranged marriage. The popular star is currently busy with a bunch of movies, including Dhanush’s ‘Karnan’ directed by Maari Selvaraj.
