The trailer of actor and professional racing enthusiast Ajith Kumar’s upcoming racing documentary ‘Gladiators’ will be screened in theatres across Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry from September 6.
The trailer is said to run for more than three minutes and has received a U/A 13 certification from the Central Board of Film Certification.
Directed by Vijay, known for films such as ‘Deivathirumagal’ and ‘Saivam’, the documentary follows Ajith’s journey in motorsport. The actor has been actively competing with the Ajith Kumar Racing team, taking part in endurance events alongside former Formula 1 driver Narain Karthikeyan.
The documentary is expected to offer viewers a closer look at Ajith’s racing career and his participation in international endurance competitions, including events connected to the Le Mans series.
Shalini Ajithkumar is producing the project through her Golden Trophy Film Production banner. The production house is also backing Ajith’s upcoming feature ‘Daredevil’, directed by Adhik Ravichandran.
Music for ‘Gladiators’ has been composed by GV Prakash Kumar, who has worked with director Vijay on several occasions. He also composed the soundtrack for Ajith’s most recent film, ‘Good Bad Ugly’.
The technical team includes videographer Noel Kemman, cinematographers Ribhu Sarma and Kabilan Vinayic, and editor Anthony.
