In exciting news for fans of Ajith Kumar, director Adhik Ravichandran has confirmed the official shoot commencement date for their next collaboration, tentatively titled AK64. The film is all set to go on floors in February 2026.
Following the success of ‘Good Bad Ugly’, Ravichandran stated that AK64 will be a mass, emotional, and action-packed gangster drama with a broad appeal. Pre-production, including extensive script work and location scouting, is currently nearing completion.
The plot is rumored to be a gritty gangster story centered around the Thoothukudi port area.
Ajith Kumar, fresh off his racing achievements, including winning the 2025 Gentleman Driver Award in Venice, is reportedly focused on rigorous physical training to prepare for the demanding role.
