Actor Daniel Balaji passed away due to a massive heart attack on Friday night, according to reports. Daniel Balaji was 48.
He was admitted to a hospital in Chennai’s Kottivakkam after he complained of chest pain. He breathed his last while undergoing treatment. Fans and well-wishers from the film industry are shocked and heartbroken with Daniel’s untimely demise.
Daniel Balaji made his acting debut in television with the super hit Tamil daily serial, Chithi, in which he played the role of Daniel. He forayed into movies with the 2002 Tamil romantic drama, ‘April Madhathil’.
He went on to play memorable characters in movies such as Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vettaiyaadu Vilayaadu’, Suriya’s ‘Kaakha Kaakha’ and Dhanush’s ‘Vada Chennai’.
Daniel Balaji was a staunch devotee, and was reportedly building a temple in Avadi. His funeral was held at his residence in Purasaiwalkam on Saturday.
