‘Chinna Veedu’ is a 1985 Tamil film written and directed by K. Bhagyaraj. The film was deemed a commercial success.
The film is the debut in Tamil for lead female Kalpana, who is also sister of actress Urvashi, who made her debut with K Bhagyaraj in the 1983 film ‘Mundhanai Mudichu’.

THULLUVADHO ILAMAI
‘Thulluvadho Ilamai’ is a 2002 Indian Tamil-language coming of age drama film written and directed by Kasthuri Raja. It is co-written by Selvaraghavan and the film marks the acting debut of Dhanush, who plays the lead role.
The film also features other newcomers Abhinay, Sherin, Ramesh, Shilpa and Gangeshwari in major roles, and features prominent film personalities Vijayakumar, Ramesh Khanna, Pyramid Natarajan, playing supporting roles.
The film depicts the story of six high-school classmates, three boys and three girls, coming from different strata of society, who have each their own problems in their respective families and escape from their homes, deciding to live together on their own with the help of an older friend of theirs.
BOYS
‘Boys’ is a 2003 coming-of-age musical film directed by Shankar. It stars newcomers Genelia, Siddharth, Bharath, Manikandan, newcomer S Thaman, Nakul in the lead roles.
The score and soundtrack are composed by A R Rahman. The story revolves around the six youngsters, who experience the downfalls of teenage life.
The film released along with its Telugu dubbed version performing well at the box office. Its Hindi soundtrack was released in 2012 and the Hindi dubbed version was made available on Zee5 in 2020. The Hindi version was released in association with Jayantilal Gada and Pen Movies.

‘New’ is a 2004 fantasy comedy film directed, written and produced by S J Surya, who also features in the lead role alongside Simran. Kiran Rathod and Devayani play supporting roles, while A R Rahman composes the music.
‘New’ is about an 8-year-old boy who is turned into a 28-year-old man by a scientist. ‘New’ was simultaneously shot in Telugu as Naani with Mahesh Babu. The movie’s plot is adapted from the 1988 Hollywood Tom Hanks starrer ‘Big’.
KALYANA SAMAYAL SAADHAM
‘Kalyana Samayal Saadham’ is a 2013 romantic comedy film written and directed by R S Prasanna. It features Prasanna and Lekha Washington in the lead roles, while Crazy Mohan, Delhi Ganesh, Uma Padmanabhan appear in supporting roles.
Produced by Ananth Govindan and Arun Vaidyanathan under the Everest Entertainment banner, it was distributed by Abinesh Elangovan’s Abi TCS Studios, C V Kumar’s Thirukumaran Entertainment and RPP Film Factory.
The film follows Raghu, a software engineer who faces several challenges in his arranged marriage as he suffers from erectile dysfunction and tries to find a solution to his problem.

‘Trisha Illana Nayanthara’ is a 2015 adult comedy film written and directed by Adhik Ravichandran. The film features G V Prakash Kumar in the lead role with Simran, Manisha Yadav and Anandhi in the leading roles. The film was dubbed into Telugu as ‘Trisha Leda Nayanthara’.
HARA HARA MAHADEVAKI
‘Hara Hara Mahadevaki’ is 2017 adult comedy film written and directed by Santhosh P Jayakumar and produced By Thangam Cinemas. The film features Gautham Karthik and Nikki Galrani in the lead roles, while Balamurali Balu composes the film’s music. Produced by Thangam Cinemas and released by Blue Ghost Pictures, the venture began production in November 2016.
IRUTTU ARAYIL MURATTU KUTHTHU
‘Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu’ is a 2018 adult comedy horror film, written and directed by Santhosh P. Jayakumar and produced by K E Gnanavel Raja.
The film stars Gautham Karthik and VJ Sha Ra, With Yashika Aannand, Chandrika Ravi, and Vaibhavi Shandilya in the female leads. The music was composed by Balamurali Balu with editing by Prasanna GK.
The film was remade in Telugu as ‘Chikati Gadilo Chithakotudu’ by Jayakumar himself and was theatrically released in India on April 21, 2019.
IVANUKKU ENGEYO MACHCHAM IRUKKU
‘Ivanukku Engeyo Matcham Irukku’ is a 2018 Indian Tamil adult comedy film directed by Mukesh and produced by Sharmiela Mandre. The film stars Vimal and Ashna Zaveri in the lead roles, with Singampuli, Anandaraj, Poorna, and Mansoor Ali Khan in supporting roles.
The music was composed by Natarajan Sankaran with cinematography by Gopi Jagadeeswaran and editing by P Dinesh. A remake of the Telugu film ‘Guntur Talkies’ (2016), the film was released on 7 December 2018.
