Respected Sir,
I am the Vice President – Productions of 2D Entertainment Private Limited, a private limited company
engaged in film production, distribution, etc.
A few days ago, it came to our knowledge that some unknown person has created and is using a fake email ID (2dentertainment.gokul @gmail.com) and also using the company name & logo. We further understand that this unknown person is fraudulently claiming to represent 2D Entertainment Private Limited, and inviting gullible persons for auditions and soliciting payments fro m them wit h an intent to
cheat them. He is not only trying to cheat innocent and gullible persons but also trying to tarnish the goodwill and reputation of 2D Entertainment.
2D Entertainment Private Limited does not conduct any such auditions. All auditions for 2D Entertainment’s projects are properly announced in our official social media handles and conducted by the respective Direct or’ s team in their respective offices. M ost import antl y we do not charge or collect any amount from any one for auditions.
2D Entertainment has also issueda press release on social media requestingthe general public and those interested to exercise utmost caution & care and not to share any personal and confidential information
/ details, without verifying whether such emails and offers for auditions, etc., are bonafide and genuine. 2D Entertainment prefers this compla int against thi s unknown person who has misused 2D Entert ainm ent’ s name & logo and tr ied to cheat innocent and gullible persons and also brought disrepute and defamed the goodwill and reputation of 2D Entert ainment.
It is therefore respectfully submitt ed that just and necessary actionbe taken against this unknown person on priori ty as the re is every possibility that innocentand gullible persons can be cheated by this unknown imposter who is using the name of 2D Entertainment. That apart, the fair name and reputation of 2D Entertainment is also at stake. Therefore, prompt action is requested to prevent any further fraudulent activities by this unknown person.
