Vijay is heaving a sigh of relief now, as his son Jason Sanjay, who was stuck in Canada for months due to the Covid-19 induced lockdown, has finally reached Chennai on a special flight.
According to sources, as per rules, Sanjay is now staying in a star hotel in the city and he would be there for 14 days as part of the quarantine process. “After that, if he tests negative for coronavirus, he would go home,” sources said.
It is said that Sanjay’s return has brought joy to Vijay and his family members, who were worried about him all these days. Jason Sanjay, who is studying filmmaking at a university in Canada, was stranded in that country due to global lockdown to prevent the spread of coronavirus pandemic.
Though Jason was staying safe there, it was said Vijay and other members of the family were concerned about him and were in regular touch with him. “They want him to reach India at the earliest,” sources had said at that time.
Vijay is currently staying at his ECR residence with his wife Sangeetha and daughter Divya Sasha. His ‘Master’ is expected to hit the screens after the lockdown is lifted.
