With the Telangana government giving permission to the cinema industry to resume film shoots and other works, ace director S S Rajamouli has said the onus is on the industry to figure out safety guidelines in place.
“Thank you @TelanganaCMO KCR garu for considering our request and allowing us to get back to work, and @YadavTalasani garu for streamlining the process,” posted the ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Magadheera’ maker.
Rajamouli, who is currently busy with NTR Junior-Ram Charan starrer ‘RRR’, added: “Now the onus is on us as an industry to figure out how to work with the recommended safety guidelines in place. Quite a job!”
Speaking at a webinar recently, Rajamouli said, “If you look at cinema as a river then you will notice now that the direction of flow has changed.” The ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Naan Ee’ maker said further:”Directors should also change the way of storytelling because the art of storytelling is going to become more important now.”
He added: “Filmmakers can’t afford to take the audience for granted anymore. The expectations of the audience will have changed now because of this exposure to global content that is available on OTT platforms. We will have to work harder to impress them.”
