Veteran Telugu actor Kosuri Venu Gopal passed away on Wednesday in a private hospital in Hyderabad. Earlier, he was tested positive for Covid-19, reports said.
According to reports from Hyderabad, he was on a life support for the past 23 days, and breathed his last after his health condition deteriorated on Wednesday.
Venugopal from Narsapur, West Godavari retired after working as a manager in Food Corporation of India. He is known for acting in many films like ‘Maryada Ramanna’, ‘Chalo’, ‘Pilla Zamindar’, ‘Ami Thumi’ and more.
In an earlier interview, he had said, “It is only due to Maryada Ramanna that I am recognised as an actor today.” He worked in numerous films over 26 years. He is regarded as one of the good comical actors in Tollywood.
