Forget the dream of coming back to power: Rajinikanth to AIADMK
With the Tamil Nadu government deciding to file an appeal in the Supreme Court against the Madras High Court order to close down TASMAC liquor shops, superstar Rajinikanth strongly condemned the move.
“If the state reopens the TASMAC at this time, it must forget the dream of coming back to power again,” Rajinikanth, who is expected to start his political party later this year, tweeted.
He added: “Please #Look out for better ways of filling the coffer.” His tweet has created a debate in political, media and social media circles. His fans hailed his strong stand against the reopening of liquor shops.
