At a time when Vijay fans are getting ready to celebrate the birthday of their ‘thalapathy’ on June 22 in a grand manner, it looks like the actor has asked them to stay away from celebrations, in view of the ongoing Covid-19 situation.
According to sources, Vijay fans, as in the past, were planning to rejoice the day in different ways this year too. However, Vijay has reportedly sent a special message to his fan clubs ahead of his birthday, requesting them to not celebrate it.
In the message, Vijay has asked his fan clubs not to hold any celebrations on his birthday, since it won’t be appropriate in this pandemic situation. He has requested his fans to continue welfare activitieand urged them them to be helpful towards the needy.
Meanwhile, the makers of his upcoming film ‘Master’, whose release has been delayed by the lockdown, have decided to release teaser or posters of the movie on his birthday.
Also there is a buzz that an announcement on his upcoming film too will be madde. According to sources, the movie, which is tipped to be a sequel to ‘Thuppakki’, will be directed by A R Murugadoss and bankrolled by Sun Pictures.
