“- Review

Dinesh, who is known for his batting, prioritises cricket over his wife, children and work. So, wherever cricket is played in the town, he will go out to play.
On the other hand, Harish Kalyan, despite being a brilliant cricketer, is rejected by his hometown cricket team due to caste discrimination.
Thus, he quenches his thirst for cricket by playing as a guest player in the teams that offer him the opportunity. The ego clash between these two, which starts with cricket, causes problems in their lives as well.
The movie directed by Tamizharasan Pachamuthu  tells the story of how the ego conflict and the discrimination in people’s minds are dissolved through the same game of cricket.
The way in which the director has handled such a sensitive subject is very commendable.
Dinesh has taken up the role of an elder person and has effectively expressed the various emotions his character goes throught.
Be it the scene where he misses his wife, or the way in which he expresses his ego are all top notch.
Harish Kalyan has done complete justice to his character. The way in which he carries the role is commendable.
He does not mouth punch dialogues or display heroism but still manages to shine in his role.
Rest of the cast have also delivered what was expected from them.
Swaswika, Sanjana Krishnamoorthy, Kaali Venkat and Bala Saravanan have all added more authenticity to their respective characters.
Sean Roldan’s music adds soul to the proceedings. His work is very impressive, especially in the climax sequence.
Dinesh Purushottaman’s camerawork has captured the matches and the ego clashes in an effective manner..Rest of the technical aspects of the movie are sound as well.
