Kalaiyarasan is a bank employee who grows a horsetail after getting a weird dream. Because of this, he has to face a lot of embarrassment and even loses his job.
So he sets out to find the reason behind his tail. He meets an old woman who decodes dreams, a maths teacher who believes that there is a solution for everything through maths, and an astrologer. Was he able to find the answer to his questions and form the rest of the story.
Kalaiyarasan has put in so much effort to play the character who is constantly confused. He aces it with his natural acting. The way he changes his body language after the growth of the horsetail, always having a confused look, and getting angry all of sudden are performed well.
Anjal Patil has a minimalistic role but shines in the small screen time that she gets. Rajesh has written the story, screenplay, and dialogues for the film which is directed by the Manoj Leons Jackson and Shyam Sundar duo.
At the outset, it looks like the movie is based on the hunt to know the reason behind horsetail, but it has several layers to it.
This movie is a completely new attempt in Tamil cinema. The makers have not compromised anywhere for commercial purposes.
Karthik Muthukumar has given life to the director’s vision. His framings are excellent and easily convey the message to the audience. Music by Pradeep Kumar is pathbreaking.
The BGM is ear pleasing and maintains the tempo of the movie. The rest of the cast and technical team have also done their part well.
