Whatever a writer writes happens in reality. Initially, the cops brush this aside as coincidence, but then the events grab the attention of the police and they start investigating the events.
A committee headed by Arulnithi is formed to find the truth behind the happenings. Is he able to solve the puzzles forms the rest of the story.
Director Arvind has concentrated in the story and screenplay which is visible on the screen.
The first half is very engaging and the same momentum is carried forward in the second half as well.
Performances by Arulnithi, Madhoo, Kaali Venkat have all done well. Arulnithi as an undercover cop has delivered a detailed performance.
Achyuth Kumar as the writer is the backbone of the movie. Music is one of the biggest strengths of the movie. Ghibran’s BGM is thrilling and keeps the audience engaged.
Visuals by PG Muthiah are fantastic and compliment the movie well. On the whole, barring a few things, ‘Dejavu’ is an interesting concept that has been handled well.
