Directed by Jai Amar Singh, College Road is set in a college backdrop and touches upon an issue with education that students often encounter.

The movie speaks about how bank loans are not still not accessible to eligible students. Bank loan is the first step for poor students to achieve their dream of higher studies.

However, not all the students get the education loan. Even those who get it have to undergo a lot of struggles and many of them are not treated properly by the banks.

The movie emphasises on how the bank loan scheme introduced by the government is not reaching the deserving students because of a few bank officials.

While the movie begins on a lighter note, it gets emotional during the second half. Lingesh has put in a lot of hard work for his role and it is clearly visible on screen.

He has managed to convey the emotions that his character undergoes in a convincing manner. He is ably supported by Monica Chinnakotla, Ananth Nag, Bommu Lakshmi and Akshay Kamal.

Cinematography by Karthick Subramaniyan is impressive. Music by OfRo is good and adds more strength to the proceedings.
