                            – Review

A chief surgeon from a reputed hospital is kidnapped and brutally murdered by a unknown man
Amala Paul, who is a pathologist, is roped in to help the police Assistant Commissioner Harish Uthaman to solve the murder case.
Meanwhile, an inmate draws a sketch of the surgeon vowing to kill him. Coming to know about this Harish and Amala Paul start investigating him.
In the meantime, another murder takes place in a similar manner. The mystery behind the murders and the murderer is unfolded in the neatly made medical investigative thriller.
The biggest strength of ‘Cadaver’ is the characters and their making. Director Anoop Panicker has delivered an intense and intriguing medical thriller.
A better screenplay from Abhilash Pillai would have made it an even better thriller. The first half is packed with punches, but it loses steam in the second half.
Amala Paul as the performer is rock solid and gets into the skin of her character. She is convincing as the one calling the shots.
Harish Uthaman, Athulya Ravi, Thrigun and Munishkanth have all done their portions as expected.
Music composer Ranjin Raj’s BGM elevates each and every scene. Editing by Lokesh is crisp. Aravinnd Singh’s camerawork is impressive.

Rating: 3.4/5
