The movie is about the incidents that take place in a three days span at a remote village in Madras.
The people of the village are unaware that India is going to get Independence in the next three days.
The residents decide to riot against a terrifying commanding officer and his son who are incharge of that village.
Amidst all this there is also a love story between two youngsters from the village. How does all this end forms the rest of the story.
Director N S Ponkumar has taken an interesting story and has tried to deliver it in an interesting manner.
The first half of the movie keeps the audience engaged with the unfolding of the conflicts and the establishment of the premise.
The proceedings get predictable in the second half which is one of the major setbacks of the film.
Gautham Karthik has delivered a neat performance and the effort that he has put for the character is clearly evident on screen.
Revathy Sharma makes a decent debut and is apt for her role. Pugazh is impressive in his character.
Richard Ashton creates the much needed impact for his role. Selvakumar SK’s camerawork is impressive and adds more authenticity to the story.
Sean Roldan’s background score is impressive. Rest of the technical aspects are good.

Rating: 3.5/5
