To mark the audio launch of Suriya-starrer ‘Soorari Pottru’, the makers of the movie have decided to take 100 children from underprivileged background for a flight journey.
“All of them will be going on aircraft for the first time. They will be taken for a short flight in and around Chennai, for about half-an-hour, along with Suriya and the rest of the team,” sources said.
Recently, it emerged that Suriya’s production house 2D Entertainment which is bankrolling the movie has decided to dub the film in Kannada following requests from fans of Suriya from Karnataka.
The film is helmed by Sudha Kongara of ‘Irudhi Suttru’ fame. Besides the Tamil and Kannada versions, the film will also be dubbed in Telugu. While there were widespread speculations that ‘Soorarai Pottru’ is based on the life of Air Deccan founder GR Gopinath and even the recently released teaser of the flick supported the claim, the movie’s director Sudha Kongara has however denied it.
