Superstar Rajinikanth released a video on Tamil New Year’s day, in which he said the coronavirus pandemic would go away soon. “This too shall pass” was the message of the ‘thalaivar’.
He requested Tamils living everywhere, including foreign countries, to follow the restrictions imposed by the respective governments to protect themselves from the contagion. Rajini added this would be their biggest gift to their family members this year.
“Coronavirus has affected the whole world and India and Tamil Nadu are no exceptions. Those away from you, your relatives and family members, always keep thinking about you and are worried about you,” said Rajini.
The superstar, who was shooting for ‘Annaatthe’directed by Siva before the pandemic hit the country, added: “In whichever country you live, follow the restrictions and protect yourself. This is the biggest gift you are giving this year to your relatives and family members. Live well, don’t worry. This too shall pass.”
Rajinikanth also expressed happiness about the service being done to the poor and the needy by the members of Rajini Makkal Mandram and asked them to stay safe.
