The latest buzz in Kollywood is that Prasanna would play the antagonist in Ajith’s upcoming film ‘Valimai’, which is being directed by H Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor.
When fans asked whether he is a part of ‘Valimai’, the ‘Thupparivalan’ and ‘Achamundu Achamundu’ actor replied that things are yet to be confirmed. It may be recalled that Prasanna had earlier played villain in ‘Anjathey’ directed by Mysskin.
He is currently part of ‘Thupparivalan 2’ starring Vishal in the lead and directed by Mysskin. The first schedule of ‘Valimai’ was wrapped in Hyderabad recently, it is to be noted.
Speaking at a recent awards event, Boney, who had earlier bankrolled Ajith-starrer ‘Nerkonda Paarvai’, said, “Valimai is a commercial entertainer with high emotional quotient. We are planning to release the film on Diwali 2020.”
Shooting for ‘Valimai’, in which Ajith is said to be playing a police officer, got a kickstart in Hyderabad late last year. Yami Gautam has been roped in to play the romantic interest of Ajith in the film. Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring the music for ‘Valimai’ and Nirav Shah is handling the camera.
