With biopic becoming the flavour of the season, attempts are being made a film on the life of former Chief Minister and DMK president M Karunanidhi.
Amid claims that Udhayanidhi Stalin would play his grandfather’s role in the biopic, the ‘Oru Kal Oru Kannadi’ and ‘Nanbenda’ actor said he would not be part of the biopc on Karunanidhi.
“A lot of people including MX Player approached us for the biopic but we haven’t taken a decision yet. I can’t finalize the actor to play my granddad. Only my dad and the director of the biopic should take the decision,” he said.
It is to be noted that MX Player recently released ‘Queen’ starring Ramya Krishnan and directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon and Prasath Murugesan. The web series was based on the life of former Chief Minister and AIADMK supremo J Jayalalithaa.
Meanwhile, Udhayanidhi’s recent release ‘Psycho’, directed by Mysskin, has won positive reviews, while some critics have said the film has many gory and violent scenes.
