Creative Executive Producer of Hombale Films Karthik Gowda has confirmed on Twitter that Yash will join the final leg of the shoot of ‘KGF 2’ from today and they are planning to wrap up the film by the end of this month.
He tweeted yesterday: “@TheNameIsYash joins the final leg of #KGFChapter2 shoot from tomorrow. We will wrap up the film by the end of this month and proceed towards the release. @hombalefilms @VKiragandur @prashanth_neel @SrinidhiShetty7 @bhuvangowda84″.”
‘KGF 2’ is A period action film directed by Prashanth Neel. A sequel to the 2018 film ‘KGF 1’, the film stars Yash in the lead reprising his role from the first film and Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt as the antagonist.
Principal photography began in March 2019. The film was supposed to be released on 13 October 2020 ,however, it was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Sanjay Dutt’s health issues.
