Cricket and cinema collided in Hyderabad as T20 World Cup star Tilak Varma paid a surprise visit to the sets of Ram Charan’s upcoming rural actioner, ‘Peddi’.
The young cricketer spent significant time with Ram Charan and director Buchi Babu Sana, catching a few glimpses of the film’s intense sports sequences.
Tilak Varma was reportedly “thoroughly impressed” by the authenticity and emotional weight of the action, which revolves around a sports narrative.
To commemorate the visit, Ram Charan gifted Tilak a special autographed cricket bat, a gesture that has since gone viral on social media.
The film, which features Janhvi Kapoor as the leading lady and music by A.R. Rahman, is currently racing through its final schedule to meet its grand worldwide release date of April 30, 2026.
