In a bold and tactical shift, Ravi Teja has decided to drop his iconic “Mass Maharaja” prefix for his upcoming film, ‘Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi’ (BMW).
Directed by Kishore Tirumala, the film is a clean, family-oriented comedy-drama that marks a departure from the actor’s recent string of heavy action roles.
Reports suggest that Ravi Teja made this conscious choice to signal a “class” makeover, wanting the audience to focus entirely on his performance rather than his established screen persona.
The film, starring Ashika Ranganath and Dimple Hayathi, is slated for a January 13, 2026 release.
This move is being hailed by distributors as a pragmatic step to reinvent his brand after a series of underwhelming box-office results in the past year.
