Actor Ram Charan has undergone surgery for a right wrist injury sustained while filming his recent movie ‘Peddi’.
According to an official statement from his team, the procedure was performed at Ganga Hospital in Coimbatore under the leadership of renowned orthopaedic surgeon Dr. S. Rajasekaran. Internationally recognised hand and wrist specialist Dr. Alejandro Badia from Miami also joined the medical team because of the nature of the injury.
The surgery was carried out by Dr. Rajasekaran, Dr. Badia, Dr. Praveen Bharadwaj and their team of specialists.
Doctors have expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the procedure, and Ram Charan is said to be recovering well. He is expected to undergo a structured rehabilitation programme before resuming his film commitments.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, ‘Peddi’ stars Ram Charan alongside Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu and Divyenndu in prominent roles.
The film is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner, while Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings are presenting the project.
