The first look and a glimpse video for Gopichand’s 33rd film, tentatively titled ‘Gopichand 33’ has been unveiled on his birthday.
Gopichand is seen in a striking fierce warrior avatar. He sports long hair, a rugged, battle-worn beard, and a streak of sindoor on his forehead.
The released glimpse video showcases breathtaking visuals. It opens in serene, snow-capped mountains, showing Gopichand’s warrior character emerging from a tent and sharing a quiet, poignant moment with his horse. This calm then shatters into a powerful build-up, hinting at epic action sequences.
The film is a grand historical epic directed by Sankalp Reddy. It is set in the 7th century and is said to explore a crucial and largely forgotten chapter of Indian history.
The film is being produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under the Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner, with Pavan Kumar presenting.
The first schedule was completed in Kashmir in April, and the team is currently shooting on a grand set erected in Hyderabad for the second schedule.
