Vishwadev Rachakonda calls ‘Dark Chocolate’ a distinctive Telugu film as trailer raises expectations

Actor Vishwadev Rachakonda is preparing for the release of his upcoming film ‘Dark Chocolate’, following the attention he received for ’35-Chinna Katha Kaadu’. The makers have unveiled the film’s trailer ahead of its scheduled theatrical release on November 13.

The project stars Bindu Madhavi as the female lead and is directed by Shashank Srivastavaya. Rana Daggubati is presenting the film through Spirit Media in association with Waltair Productions.

Speaking about the project, Vishwadev expressed confidence in its unusual narrative and said the story explores the contrasting sides of human nature. He suggested that audiences would find elements of themselves reflected in the film’s themes.

The actor described the project as an experiment that seeks to offer an experience different from conventional Telugu cinema. He also expressed pride in the film’s identity as a Telugu production, stating that he did not believe it could easily be compared with movies made in other languages.

Vishwadev credited director Shashank with presenting the story through multiple layers, suggesting that the film’s impact would extend beyond its written narrative. According to the actor, even someone familiar with the script beforehand could still experience the film differently when watching it on screen.

His remarks underline the team’s intention to create a film that encourages audiences to engage with its themes rather than simply follow a familiar storyline.

With the trailer now released, ‘Dark Chocolate’ is building anticipation ahead of its November 13 debut. The combination of Vishwadev’s confidence in the script, Bindu Madhavi’s involvement and Rana Daggubati’s presentation has brought the project into focus among upcoming Telugu releases.
