Following an underwhelming commercial run at the box office, director Prem’s big-budget underworld action-thriller ‘KD – The Devil’ is making its swift transition to digital screens.
Premium streaming giant ZEE5 has officially acquired the global distribution rights and locked the film’s premiere for Friday, June 5, 2026, where it will stream in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.
Set in the gritty landscape of 1970s Bengaluru, the period drama follows the violent evolution of Kalidasa, or KD (played with a rugged screen presence by Dhruva Sarja), an uneducated young man whose fierce family loyalty pulls him into a deep web of political rivalry and street warfare.
Produced on a massive scale by KVN Productions, the actioner features a star-studded ensemble that includes Sanjay Dutt as the formidable gangster Dhak Deva, alongside Shilpa Shetty, Nora Fatehi, and a highly talked-about special appearance by Kiccha Sudeep.
