The release date of Vijay Sethupathi’s upcoming film ‘Ace’ directed by Arumugakumar was announced recently.
The movie will have its theatrical worldwide release on 23 May.
The makers also released an exclusive photo from the movie to announce the movie’s release date.
The team has now released the trailer of the movie. The trailer begins with Vijay Sethupathi’s character arriving in Malaysia after erasing all his identities. He calls himself ‘Bold’ Kannan, and gives different meanings for his name. Then, we see him spending time with Yogi Babu and Rukmini Vasanth.
As the trailer’s tone shifts, we see that Vijay Sethupathi’s character is on a secret mission. There is a reference to gambling, smuggling, and amid heist-like setup.
The movie has Rukmini Vasanth making his Kollywood debut.
Star cast of ‘Ace’ also includes Yogi Babu, B.S. Avinash, Divya Pilli, and Babloo among others.
The project is bankrolled by Arumugakumar under the banner of 7Cs Entertainment.
After its theatrical run, Prime Video will be streaming the film after bagging the post-theatrical digital rights.
