Suriya’s upcoming film, directed by R J Balaji, tentatively referred to as Suriya 45, has been officially been titled ‘Karuppu’.
Trisha Krishnan plays the female lead in the movie. This marks their reunion on screen after 20 years, having last appeared together in ‘Aaru’.
The cast also includes Indrans, Sshivada, Swasika, Yogi Babu, and Natty Subramaniam in pivotal roles.
The movie is produced by S. R. Prakash Babu and S. R. Prabhu under the banner of Dream Warrior Pictures. Music for the movie is by Sai Abhyankkar.
The film was officially announced in October 2024, with principal photography commencing the following month.
