Veteran actor Sarath Babu has passed away due to multiple organ failure in Hyderabad.
He had been undergoing treatment for the past few days as his health had been deteriorating.
Sarath Babu was first admitted to a private hospital in Bengaluru and later shifted to AIG Hospitals in Hyderabad, where he received treatment for more than a month. He was 73.
He has acted in over 300 films in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages.
He became famous for his role in the film ‘Nizhal Nijamagiradhu’, directed by the late legendary filmmaker K Balachander.
He has acted in several movies with Rajinikanth including ‘Mullum Malarum’, ‘Muthu’ and ‘Annamalai’.
Many celebrities have expressed their deepest condolences to Sarath Babu’s family.
