‘Valimai’ team which was shooting at Hyderabad’s Ramoji Film City has not shifted base to Rajasthan where some important sequences are to be filmed.
Meanwhile, it is said that Ajith had asked director Boney Kapoor and director Lokesh Kanagaraj not to release the movie till the coronavirus pandemic is brought under control.
Ajith plays an upright cop in the film. The movie also stars Huma Qureshi, Raj Ayyapa and Achyuth Kumar in pivotal roles.
Music for the movie is by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography is by Nirav Shah. It may be noted that Ajith was earlier injured during the shooting for the film in February. However, he continued to shoot after a short break.
