Director H Vinoth has firmly dismissed rumors suggesting that Vijay’s final film, ‘Jana Nayagan’, is a remake of the Telugu hit ‘Bhagavanth Kesari’.
Speaking at the grand audio launch held in Malaysia, Vinoth clarified that while people might find certain elements “familiar,” the film is a completely original, high-octane commercial entertainer designed specifically for Vijay’s fans.
The event was an emotional one, as Vijay hinted at the “pain” of his impending exit from cinema to enter politics.
The makers also released the third single, “Chella Magale,” a heart-touching father-daughter melody sung by Vijay himself. The film is slated for a massive global release on January 9, 2026.
