Arulnithi’s ‘Arulvaan’ team holds special screening for tribal communities

Ahead of its theatrical release on July 17, Arulnithi-starrer ‘Arulvaan’ was showcased at a special screening for members of tribal communities living in the Anamalai Tiger Reserve near Pollachi.

Organised by the film’s production team at Sri Sakthi Cinemas in Pollachi, the event brought together more than 100 indigenous residents. Transportation was arranged for attendees, while tribal schoolchildren received complimentary school bags.

The film explores the lives of indigenous families living in the hill regions, highlighting their traditions, everyday struggles, and the importance of women’s education. It aims to create awareness about the challenges faced by these communities.

Many viewers said the story closely mirrored their own experiences, with several describing the film as emotionally moving. Padmini, a resident of Erumaipaarai in Topslip, noted that the film realistically portrays the lives of tribal people in the hills.
