‘பழைய வண்ணாரப்பேட்டை’, ‘திரௌபதி’, ‘ருத்ர தாண்டவம்’ படங்களின் மூலம் தமிழ் சினிமா ரசிகர்களை திரும்பிப் பார்க்க வைத்தவர் இயக்குனர் மோகன்.G இவர், ஜி எம் பிலிம் கார்ப்பரேஷன் பட நிறுவனம் மூலம் தற்போது தயாரித்து இயக்கியிருக்கும் படம் ‘பகாசூரன்’.
இந்தப் படத்தில் இயக்குனர் செல்வராகவன் கதாநாயகனாக நடிக்க, முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரத்தில் நட்டி நடிக்கிறார். ‘ ‘கர்ணன்’ படத்திற்கு பிறகு நட்டி முக்கிய கேரக்டரில் நடிக்க, கதையை நகர்த்திச் செல்லும் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரங்களில் ராதாரவி, கே.ராஜன் நடித்துள்ளனர். மற்றும் மன்சூர் அலிகான், தேவதர்சினி, பி.எல்.தேனப்பன், குணாநிதி, சசி லையா, ரிச்சா, கூல்ஜெயந்த், ஜாக்கோப், அருணோதயன், குட்டி கோபி நடித்துள்ளனர்.
சாம்.சி.எஸ் இசையமைக்க, ஃபருக் ஜே பாட்ஷா ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்திருக்கிறார். படத்திற்கு எஸ்.தேவராஜ் எடிட்டிங் செய்ய, கலை இயக்குனராக எஸ்.கே பணியாற்றுகிறார். மிரட்டல் செல்வா சண்டை பயிற்சி செய்ய, ஜானி மாஸ்டர் நடனம் அமைத்துள்ளார்.

திரௌபதி ருத்ர தாண்டவம் திரைப்படம் சமூகத்தில் நடக்கும் உண்மை சம்பவங்களை அடிப்படையாக கொண்டு உருவாக்கப்பட்டதை போலவே பகாசூரனும் சேலம், ஆற்காடு, பாண்டிச்சேரி, ஆகிய பகுதிகளில் நடந்த உண்மை சம்பவங்களை அடிப்படையாகக்கொண்டு எழுதப்பட்ட ஒரு கதை.
இந்த திரைப்படம் தற்போது சமூகத்தில் மசாஜ் செண்டர்கள் என்ற பெயரில் நடக்கும் அநியாயங்கள், ஆன்லைன் பிராஸ்டியூஷன் virtual பிராஸ்டியூஷன் ஆகியவற்றில் என்ன நடக்கிறது என்பதை விழிப்புணர்வு ஏற்படுத்த மக்களுக்காக, பெற்றோர்களுக்காக உருவாக்கப்பட்ட திரைக்கதை இது.
இந்த படத்தில் செல்வராகவன் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரத்தில் நடித்துள்ளார். ஏற்கனவே அவர் நடித்த பீஸ்ட் திரைப்படம் வெளி வந்திருந்தாலும் கதையின் முக்கிய நாயகனாக அவர் நடித்து வெளியாகும் முதல் திரைப்படம் இதுவே. இந்த படத்தில் பக்க பலமாக நட்டி நட்ராஜ் செல்வ ராகவனுக்கு இணையாக ஒரு வேடத்தில் நடித்துள்ளார்.
முந்தைய எனது படங்களைப் போலவே இந்த படத்திலும் ஒரு கதைக்களம் உள்ளது. நான் திரும்ப திரும்ப சொல்லும் ஒரே விஷயம் பெற்றோர்களுக்கும் இளம் பெண்களுக்கும்
இளம் வாலிபர்களுக்கும் நவீன கால மொபைலில் என்ன வகையான செயலிகள் ஆபத்தான வகையில் அமைந்துள்ளன. அவற்றில் இருந்து தங்களை காத்துக்கொள்வது எப்படி என்பதை விரிவாக இந்த திரைப்படத்தில் சொல்லியிருக்கிறோம். படம் வந்த பிறகே படத்தில் என்னென்ன சர்ச்சைகள் உள்ளது என்பது மக்களுக்கு தெரிய வரும்.
படம் வெள்ளிக்கிழமை பிப்ரவரி 17 ம் தேதி திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகிறது.
