AR Rahman sings all songs in Prabhu Deva starrer ‘Moon Walk’

AR Rahman has taken complete creative control of the music for Prabhu Deva’s upcoming dance-musical ‘Moon Walk’, singing all five tracks in the album.
The makers have officially confirmed that Rahman has lent his voice to every song, including “Yethu”, “Macarena”, “Mayile”, “Tinga”, and “Jiger”, marking a rare full-album vocal contribution from the composer.
This project also reunites Rahman and Prabhu Deva after more than two decades, adding to the film’s anticipation among fans of both artists.
With Lahari Music acquiring the audio rights and promotions set to elevate the film’s musical identity, ‘Moon Walk’ is shaping up to be one of Tamil cinema’s most vibrant musical releases of the year.
Directed by debutant Manoj NS (also producing under his banner), ‘Moon Walk’ promises to be a full-fledged musical entertainer.
Alongside Rahman’s compositions, the album will feature lyrics penned by a roster of writers — including Sathyan, Vishnu Edavan, Vivek, Arivu and Vignesh.
The film’s ensemble cast includes names such as Yogi Babu, Aju Varghese, Arjun Ashokan, Nishma Chengappa, among others. Post-production is reportedly underway, with a theatrical release slated for summer 2026.
